How can you go wrong strolling around on the historic grounds of the 1969 Woodstock festival at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Follow the Bindy Bazaar Trails into the woods where festival attendees waited out the rain and vendors set up shop for the weekend of the festival. Just keep an eye out for the vibrant crochet patterns wrapped around the trees as part of a large-scale art installation by artist Carol Hummel.
Follow Bindy’s Trails right back towards the Museum at Bethel Woods to see films and treasures left behind from that groovy weekend that defined a decade. After the museum you can head over to the Catskill Distillery at the Dancing Cat Saloon and sip on some award winning spirits.
